5TCA PEELS DRAMATICALLY REVERSE THE SIGNS OF AGING
TCA is a powerful exfoliating agent that works by removing the outer layers of the skin in the epidermal and dermal regions.
Your skin naturally sheds its outer layer on a regular basis, this process slows with age. Chemical peels are powerful tools used by Dermatologists and Skin Spa Estheticians to resurface and rejuvenate their client’s skin for INSTANT RESULTS!
Professionally formulated 20% TCA helps to reduce fine lines, crepey skin and brighten skin tone by exfoliating dead skin cells for youthful appearance.
It’s a modified synthetic chemical based on common vinegar or acetic acid. All TCA peels are considered medium depth peels for skin resurfacing and much more potent exfoliators than Alpha Hydroxy (AHA) peels.
The results are quicker than Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic and Mandelic, Jessner & VI peels but slow and safe is the way to go. Once your skin has adjusted to the lower strength peels you can perform a TCA peel once a month.
It’s all about the maintenance
The most common percentages for a TCA facial skin peel are between (8-25%). Stronger concentrations are commonly used to remove, moles, warts, skin tags and tattoo’s (50-100%), protecting the healthy skin surrounding those areas with Vaseline or Aquaphor.
There is some down time associated with TCA peels, 7-10 days, depending on the strength being applied. However, the results are usually well worth the wait! While your healing after the peel your skin will reveal a new youthful complexion as it continues to stimulate more Collagen and Elastin plumping up the fine lines and wrinkles over time. Realize our skin didn’t get like this overnight so it may take a few peel applications to get the results of each individual may be looking to achieve

READ SAFETY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO APPLYING ANY TCA PEEL
If you are using chemical peels for the first time, use the lowest concentration peel and gradually move up to a stronger one each time as your skin acclimates safely. Don’t start out with a peel that’s too strong thinking you will get better results for your money. You will just end up burning your skin! Though you can dilute the stronger concentrations or purchase a sample size if you are cost conscious. And remember to DO A PATCH TEST 1st so you have a baseline of what your skin can handle.
Apply Repare Skincare’s Prep Solution to your skin before you start your treatment. The Prep Solution removes all dirt and oils from your skin before treatment with this product. You'll be amazed with the result. Once you Prep your skin apply the acid peel to the treatment area, avoiding contact with mucous membrane and monitor the skin for pain, redness, blanching or excess irritation. Apply Repare’s Post Peel Neutralizer to stop the process and adjust your skin’s pH back to normal.
TCA is very corrosive and will burn your skin. It may cause permanent redness and scarring if not properly used. People using any prescription products (like Differin, Accutane, Retin-A, etc.) with active herpes lesions, form keloid scars, and women who may be pregnant or lactating should consult a doctor before using this product. Many Dermatologists and Skin Spa Estheticians suggest a protocol of using an AHA product and/or retinoid nightly for 2 weeks prior to a chemical peel to more even coverage and skin tone.
