Getting Older? Aren't we all?
Well we didn't do all this damage overnight... right?
Have you ever noticed that long before we actually feel old we start to look old?
That's because we lose Collagen starting in our early 20's.
Your skin is the largest organ in your body and Collagen is the MOST abundant protein.
"Collagen is what keeps our skin from sagging, giving us that plump, youthful look," according to dermatologist Dr. Ohara Aivaz.
So how do we stimulate collagen beyond our younger years?
Introducing RePare Skincare’s TCA 15% Skin Peel
Renew aging skin with our DIY at-home skin peel...
Our TCA peel revives the skin with radiance and glow at moderate downtime and peeling.
What is TCA?
TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) is a modified synthetic chemical similar to vinegar.
Chemical peels are used to exfoliate the skin with the goal of stimulating new skin growth and improving surface texture and appearance. The exfoliative effect of chemical peels stimulates new epidermal growth and collagen with more evenly distributed melanin.
Chemical peeling is a popular, relatively inexpensive, and generally safe method for treatment of some skin disorders and to refresh and rejuvenate skin.
For years, TCA peels have only been administered by estheticians during expensive treatments…
Finally, with the RePare Skincare TCA 15% Peel, you can renew aging skin from the comfort of your home for a fraction of the cost!
Apply Prep Solution to dissolve oil and remove dirt and debris from skin to maximize the chemical peel process. This allows the acid from the peel to be distributed more evenly helping prevent any hyper-pigmentation issues.
First do a PATCH TEST to the skin closest to the desired area.
Apply TCA 15% Peel evenly 1-3 times
Appy Post-Peel Neutralizer to stop the peel process from processing further into your tissues and to help adjust your skin's pH back to normal.
Rinse off with cold water and gently pat dry with towel - Apply Aquafor a few days later when skin begins to dry and flake.
Wait 3-4 days to apply moisturizer when skin begins to peel
Wear sunscreen 30+ SPF for the first 2-3 weeks post peel.
"The Journal of Clininal Aesthetic Dermatology" and the "National Institute of Health"
"Chemical peeling is a popular, relatively inexpensive, and generally safe method for treatment of some skin disorders and to refresh and rejuvenate skin. This article focuses on chemical peels and their use in routine clinical practice. Chemical peels are classified by the depth of action into superficial, medium, and deep peels.
Superficial peels, penetrating only the epidermis, can be used to enhance treatment for a variety of conditions, including acne, melasma, dyschromias, photodamage, and actinic keratoses.
Medium-depth peels, penetrating to the papillary dermis, may be used for dyschromia, multiple solar keratoses, superficial scars, and pigmentary disorders. Deep peels, affecting reticular dermis, may be used for severe photoaging, deep wrinkles, or scars.
Chemical peels are used to create an injury of a specific skin depth with the goal of stimulating new skin growth and improving surface texture and appearance. The exfoliative effect of chemical peels stimulates new epidermal growth and collagen with more evenly distributed melanin. "

TURN BACK THE CLOCK WITH 3 - SIMPLE STEPS FOR THAT RADIATING GLOW YOU USED TO KNOW.
Have you ever had a bad hair and didn't feel good about yourself? Do you feel like that way when your skin looks tired, dull or distressed in some way? Maybe you haven't been maintaining it on a regular basis? That's why we have professionally formulated a DIY chemical peel to help give you back that luminescent glow you once had.
Begin with a Prep Solution to properly cleanse the skin of all dirt and oils. If you've never use a TCA peel before, start with a lower concentration (or add distilled water) and slowly allow your skin to build up a tolerance or begin with a Glycolic Peel, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) they're not as strong as Trichloroacetic Acid Peels. Finally, after applying the acid peel use a Neutralizer to stop peel from progressing deeper into your tissues help your skin return back to it's normal pH.
What you'll notice after 10 - 14 days is your skin will look lighter, brighter, have less pigmentation, fewer fines and a smoother overall texture.
What is TCA, Trichloroacetic Acid
It’s a modified synthetic chemical based on common vinegar or acetic acid. All TCA peels are considered medium depth peels for skin resurfacing and much more potent exfoliators than Alpha Hydroxy (AHA) peels.
What are the Ingredients?
Deionized water, Trichloroacetic Acid. Unbuffered, No additives, preservatives or botanticals.
How long does it take to start peeling?
Generally your skin will turn red initially, then brown and begins to peel 3-5 days after application.
Do I need a Neutralizer?
It's recommended that you use a neutralizer so you can stop the peel from progressing deeper into the tissues. It also helps restore your skins pH back to normal.
Can I use this for Skin Tags?
Yes, a higher TCA percentage would work best 50% and higher while protecting the healthy tissues surrounding the tag with Vaseline.
Is there any Downtime?
Yes, 10-14 days if you're using concentrations of 25% and higher.
Do you ship Internationally?
No not at this time.
If I've never done a chemical peel before what concentration should I start with?
If you just want to do a TCA peel. Start with 10% or 15% TCA. It's always best to begin low and slow and work up to stronger concentrations at a later date. Glycolic Acid Peels 25% (AHA) are also great for beginners even if you want to prime your skin for a few weeks prior to doing the TCA.
Always do a PATCH TEST prior to doing an entire peel on the skin closest to the treatment area.
